Delivering your Agenda
The Challenge
The Agenda Group is a company located in Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra that specialices in public policy and communications consulting. The challenge was to replace their existing website to create a modern, but highly sophisticated look and develop a more clear information architecture. The standard use case we focused on was potential clients to check The Agenda Group’s credentials via the website after meeting them or being to referred. It was important for the new website to express the high level of expertise in all their practice areas – which involved showing the use of social media tools such as blogging, email marketing and twitter.
The Solution
With the tagline of “Show you have experience!” we developed a new site that had very clean structure with an easy navigation .
- The copy was written towards showing that the business has experience, mentioning milestones and achievements.
- The service section uses strong imagery to visualise the different practice areas.
- For the team pages we carried out a professional photo shoot. Team members are displayed in a flowing layout linking through to detailed profiles.
- The blog (News & Views) section is used to express their know-how and drives people to come back to the site. “Social sharing” buttons were were integrated for each article to make it easy for people to recommend posts to others. The sidebar is showing the latest tweets from The Agenda Group’s Twitter account
- The contact page is the main conversion page for this website. It includes links to Google Maps for the office locations and a contact form.
- The footer includes contact details for the three offices and a newsletter sign up form. This information is accessible at all times.
- The Agenda Group’s Twitter page was adapted to the new look & feel.
- We have also designed a re-useable email campaign template.
The Results
- Visitor numbers have increased by a stunning +98.5% in the first month after the launch of the new site. Stats show a lower bounce rate, more page views, and a 84% longer time on site.
- The Agenda Group’s Twitter page has had an increase of followers (+16.8%).
