The Challenge

LINDA SCHOLES (HARI) is a qualified professional Marriage Celebrant who conducts wedding ceremonies from Noosa to Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland, Queensland.

The new website was part of a re-brand to strengthen the professional appeal of her business. The wedding celebrant industry has become more competitive in the last few years with the increased number of celebrants on the Sunshine Coast. This meant a greater need for a strong Google impression.

The Solution

• The new website has a clean, sophisticated look with strong use of professional imagery.
• As an added value for users to re-visit the website, we have added useful content that couples can use to plan their wedding. There is a printable “Wedding Peparation Checklist” and an extensive list of services and providers in the resources section to browse through.
• Linda has a huge list of testimonials. An analogy of a thank you card was used to present a selection in form of a slider.
• In the blog Linda will have a collection of wedding related articles that can be easily shared on Facebook.
• It was developed with “WordPress” which enables her to update all areas of the website herself.

The Challenge

M.O.D – Miracle of Denim – is a successful and innovative German jeans and sportswear label.  The challenge was to upgrade the old look & feel of the brand to be more up-market and prepare it for international marketing campaigns.

The Solution

The New Site

We developed a new M.O.D corporate identity which guided the look for the photo shoot of the new collection. The new M.O.D website has a rotating full screen background and is viewable in German and English.

Mobile Sites

Instead of simply replicating the website, we have designed new versions that are specifically tailored towards the usability and technical requirements of the mobile devices.

Blog

The M.O.D blog features behind the scenes footage, news, photo galleries, a twitter feed and press materials. The design of the blog integrates with the new branding of M.O.D.

Login Area

This website is exclusively for M.O.D retailers and press to view VIP information. The login area features an event calendar, media library, “store locator” for distributors worldwide and a shop for POS materials.

Facebook Marketing

We created two custom Facebook tabs: ‘Be a part of us.‘ displays the new collection and accessories range & ‘Shop till you drop‘ promotes the new M.O.D online shop.

Email Marketing

A email campaign was send to all newsletter subscribers, retailers and press to promote the launch of the new website.

The Results

Since the launch of the brand refresh, M.O.D has increased their social media followers dramatically. The login area has generated positive feedback from retailers.

In 2007 ProjectSticky evolved from the idea to use my friend Steve’s amazing illustration skills to design wall stickers and sell them online. We haven’t done the stickers just yet =), but in the meantime ProjectSticky became a blog about interior design trends.

The great product design finds from all over the world within the categories of decoration, wall art, lighting, furniture, and toys.

The Online Shop

While blogging about awesome products, I came across more and more products I liked so much that I got the idea to sell them along our wall stickers (still no wall stickers) in an online shop. After a long time designing, programming, taking product photos, coming up with product descriptions (that is so hard!) the ProjectSticky online shop is finally online. The shop was designed to match the clean look of the blog.

ProjectSticky has a Facebook and Twitter page (of course!).
